History

Queen Mary University of London’s origin can be traced in England’s first medical school at the Royal London Hospital in1785. Then, in1887 the origin can also be found in the establishment of the People’s Palace in Mile End. At that time it was taken for university status officially. Queen Mary participated in programs of the University of London Institute in Paris and controlled the functions provided by Royal Holloway. So many notable alumni occurred having outstanding leaders in various fields of work and study around the world.
